These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Vookka mobile application ("App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Vookka is an AI-powered ingredient and label intelligence application that:

• Extracts ingredient text from product label photos using OCR.
• Analyses ingredients using AI to classify risk levels and detect banned substances.
• Provides personalised health insights based on user-supplied health profiles.
• Stores scan history and generates shareable PDF reports.

3. Medical Disclaimer

AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Regulatory data is based on publicly available sources and may not reflect the most recent updates.

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and health profiles.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@vookka.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the App.
• Use automated tools to access, scrape or extract data from the App.
• Upload content that is harmful, misleading or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems or infrastructure.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, trademarks, logos and software in the App are the property of Vookka or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (such as label images and health profiles). By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vookka shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to decisions made based on AI-generated ingredient analysis.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account within the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
